On HRM Council, Jennifer will be working for:
Pedestrian and bike-friendly communities
Sustainable transportation including expanded public transit
Safe and respectful communities
Fair tax reform and fiscal responsibility
Jobs - supporting local innovation and making sure that the necessary supports are in place for employment opportunities
A range of affordable housing options on the peninsula
Community schools and recreation facilities
Protecting our environment - responding effectively to climate change and sustainable planning policies
Development of the downtown - promoting vibrant, liveable communities which reflect our history
Antipoverty policies
Enhancement of parks and walking trails throughout the municipality
Policies and programs that support families of all shapes and sizes, seniors as they age in our neighbourhoods, youth, immigrant families and students
